This large group of rough agates, chalcedony and quartz pieces are ideal for mineral specimen display pieces, arts and crafts projects, metaphysical purposes and other general lapidary uses such as cabbing, slabbing and tumbling. The pieces in this group range from approx. 1/2 to 3 inches in size and the group has a total weight of 8.8 pounds. Photographs were taken indoors under lights and outdoors in sunlight while the material was both dry and wet.

These stones are from Deer Creek, Arizona, and were legally collected from one of our fire agate mining claims. This material should not be considered fire agate rough, it is mostly just plain colored agate, chalcedony and quartz. This material is what we have remaining after sorting out the higher quality fire agate gemstone rough from mine run material. There is a chance of fire being seen in some of these pieces, but it is unlikely to have any large gem quality sized pieces.
