This Slaughter Mountain fire agate specimen measures 5 x 4 x 2.5 inches and weighs 1.28 pounds. Its interior reveals lightly opalized druzy quartz, chalcedony, purple hued and clear quartz crystals, alongside a distinctive stalagmite like quartz formation. The exterior features colored chalcedony, agate, quartz crystals, and attractive botryoidal chalcedony, with two small patches of visible green fire. Limonite banding suggests possible internal fire layers. A flat rhyolite base provides stability and an optimal display angle.
